By placing an order with Vanessa Anthony Vintage Dish & Glassware Rentals (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable rental experience. These terms apply to all rentals, regardless of whether the order is made online, by phone, or in person.
To reserve your rental items, a deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required. This deposit confirms your booking and holds your event date. The remaining balance is due no later than seven (7) days prior to your scheduled event. Orders that are not paid in full by this deadline may be subject to cancellation without refund. We accept payment via credit card and Zelle.
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the event date to receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days may be eligible for a credit towards a future rental. Final changes to your order, including item quantities, must be submitted at least seven (7) days before your event. While we will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, we cannot guarantee availability of requested changes.
A $100.00 damage protection deposit is included in your invoice to cover normal wear and tear, such as minor chips or scratches. This will be refunded within 10 days of the event, minus any charges due to breakage/loss. Any significant damage, breakage, loss, or theft of items will be charged at full replacement value. We charge 3 times the cost of each rental item. For example: if a wine glass is damaged and the rental price is: $2 we then multiply it by 3. $2 x 3 = $6 so $6 is charged to the credit card on file or subtracted from any security deposit made.
A 4% non-refundable Maintenance Fee will be added to all orders. This covers the cleaning and sanitizing of rentals upon return.
A valid credit card must be kept on file and will only be charged in the event of additional damage, missing items, or late returns. In the event of a late return (past the three-day rental period)), a $25.00 late fee will be charged to the credit card on file or subtracted from any security deposit.
We kindly ask that you do not attempt to wash, scrub, or machine-clean any of our items. Instead, please rinse off any food or liquid and return everything in the original crates or packaging provided. All rental items should be stored in a clean, dry, and secure location when not in use to prevent weather-related or accidental damage.
Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee and are scheduled in advance. The Client or an authorized representative must be present during both delivery and pickup to sign off on inventory. Extra charges may apply for wait times, rescheduled pickups, or failure to return items at the agreed-upon time.
All rental items remain the sole property of Vanessa Anthony. Clients may not lend, sell, or sub-rent any items. While our vintage pieces are functional and charming, they should be handled with care and used for their intended purpose only. We are not liable for any injury or damage resulting from misuse of rental items.
Our rentals may be used outdoors; however, the Client assumes full responsibility for protecting items from weather-related damage such as rain, wind, or direct sunlight. In the event of extreme weather, alternate indoor arrangements should be made.
